The much awaited iPhones from Apple (announced in United States on September 20th) i.e iPhone 5S and 5c are going to arrive in India officially on November 1. As per Apple press release, iPhone 5S & 5c are rolling out to 25+ new countries including Italy, Russia & Spain on Oct 25, & 12 more including India & Mexico Nov 1.
October 25th countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.
November 1st countries:
Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE.
Pricing
For the countries where service providers offer subsidies under a contract, prices for the devices remain the same as the US’s i.e.
iPhone 5S
- $199 (US) for the 16GB model,
- $299 (US) for the 32GB model and
- $399 (US) for the 64GB model.
iPhone 5c
- $99 (US) for the 16GB model and
- $199 (US) for the 32GB model
We are yet to get any information about the prices where iPhones will be sold without contract e.g. in India. We will update the Pricing of iPhones in India and similar countries as they arrive here.
